Ben Hefferon

Ben Hefferon is a Charlotte native who has called this city home for over 40 years. After earning his undergraduate degree from UNC Charlotte and graduating from North Carolina Central University School of Law in just 2.5 years, Ben spent more than a decade representing clients at some of Charlotte's largest law firms — gaining deep experience in family law, personal injury, and estate planning before founding Hefferon Law, PLLC in 2025. 

Ben has represented clients across all phases of family law — including child custody, child support, alimony, equitable distribution, and divorce — as well as personal injury cases and estate planning matters including simple wills, healthcare directives, and powers of attorney. He understands that these cases are not just legal matters: your children, your financial security, and your future are on the line. Ben is here to provide the zealous, intelligent, and effective representation every client deserves. 

When he's not in the office or the courtroom, Ben enjoys spending time with his two sons, his blended family, and his pets. He's an avid reader, writer, and sports fan — rooting for the Carolina Panthers, NC State Wolfpack, Liverpool FC, and the Boston Red Sox.
